Subject: Dutton Car Show Postponed
Due to the increase of virus outbreaks, Lanny Christman has decided to postpone the Dutton Fun Day Car Show. The show will not be happening this Saturday (11th). We will keep you informed when a new date has been set.
Let’s keep wearing masks, washing hands and keeping a social distance so we can reach a better place, which allow more socialization.
Please take care of yourselves and others!

Cruise Night
Hi Classic Owners,
Fred Williams wanted to remind you that Saturday night is “Cruise Night” in Missoula. If you are interested in cruising (or just meeting and watching) meet in the Pier One parking lot on Reserve St. between 6:30 and 7:00. Bring a chair and your mask (if you wish). You can choose just to sit, visit, and watch the cars, or you can, of course, cruise. This is an informal, unsponsored club event, but many participants from far and wide have been joining in the fun on Sat. evenings for the past month or so.
Pier One (which is closed) is situated at 2800 N. Reserve, east side of street in front of the PetSmart/Lowes strip of stores.
Please note that this will be the last Saturday night cruise on Reserve St. due to the road construction project which will occur in the evening. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Fred Williams, 550-0146.
Hi guys
The cruise tonight will not be on Reserve.
We meet at 7ish at Ace in Trempers. Cruise is from Trempers north to Mount.

Cathy,
The Missoula Cruisers Facebook page is talking about the cruise on Saturday the 27th to go from Willy’s Auto near Pierce flooring to Ace hardware on Brook Street because of the construction on Reserve Street.

This is some of the comments from their post:
Sorry guys and gals, had out of state friends in tonight. So I’m late in posting. Reserve street is a mess. So I am going to go with the majority vote, and that will be the Brooks route. Let’s meet at the Ace parking lot by 7 and leave from there, we will loop at mount Ave just past Willys Auto and back to Paul’s pancake parlor. Check out the map for the recommended route. This route should provide for adequate viewing, parking and cruising. We will see how this goes, and we may change it up, but lets experiment this option.

Warning
HEADS UP WARNING FROM POLICE
This is the new thing these days with people out of work and needing cash. Beware, it’s headed our way.
Warning..!!!! Warning..!!!! Warning..!!!!
Just last weekend on Friday night we parked in a public parking area. As we drove away I noticed a sticker on the rear window of the car. When I took it off after I got home, it was a receipt for gas. Luckily my friend told me not to stop as it could be someone waiting for me to get out of the car.. Then we received this email yesterday:
WARNING FROM POLICE
THIS APPLIES TO BOTH WOMEN AND MEN
BEWARE OF PAPER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE–NEW WAY TO DO CARJACKINGS (NOT A JOKE)
Heads up everyone! Please, keep this circulating.. You walk across the parking lot, unlock your car and get inside. You start the engine and shift into reverse.
When you look into the rearview mirror to back out of your parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift into Park, unlock your doors, and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view. When you reach the back of your car, that is when the carjackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off. They practically mow you down as they speed off in your car.
And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car
So now the carjacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are now compromised!
BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.
If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just drive away. Remove the paper later. And be thankful that you read this e-mail. I hope you will forward this to friends and family, especially to women. A purse contains all kinds of personal information and identification documents, and you certainly do NOT want it to fall into the wrong hands.
